Next Project

This is what I've just begun working on.

I'm just making a few changes. I'm knitting it in a tweedy charcoal colour. The collar and narrow fronts will be the tweedy charcoal with bits of every other colour under the sun mixed in. My coat will be wool not acrylic and It will be just a tad longer than the one in the picture. It should be finished in time for next Fall. LOL

I really like it! On the cruise one of the women had a plain black top with a knitted edge applied, kind of like a restrained feather boa - that funny yarn they have now that looks like eyelashes and what looked like snips of leopard print fabric in the yarn. I'm sure it was some fancy designer thing that cost $200.
