Mahone Bay, Nova Scotia

We left the Halifax area this morning. Stopped at a hooked rug museum in Hubbard. It was fascinating! We are following the lighthouse route around the southern shore of Nova Scotia. We have stopped in Mahone Bay for the next couple of days. We had dinner on the deck (with a view) at a local pub and we both tried poutine for the first time. DH wasn't too impressed with the gravy and cheese curd covered French fries but I thought they were delish. Tomorrow we'll be checking out a local yarn shop and some sights DH wants to see.
