Knitting Paradise
There, I've said it. That's the name of the knitting forum I was trying to spare you all from. I might as well call it by name as the owner essentially told me to put KP's addy on all four of the links in my signature or remove the links. I don't mine doing that, fair's fair.
I had the great displeasure to virtually meet another KP member, AmyKnits. This air head began a topic about how some knitting patterns are free and then you can also find the same patterns being sold on Etsy. She told of a lady who was doing this illegally (copyright violation) until AmyKnits told her to stop, which she did. Then AmyKnits says here's an example and puts in links to MY Etsy Shop and My blog here at mybloggers. By the time I was informed of her accusations and was able to refute her claims against me hundreds of people had read her tirade against people who sell patterns that aren't theirs. She played dumb and in her half-a$$ed apology said she was sorry BUT she didn't know the shop and blog were both mine. She said she didn't know how to contact an Etsy shop owner and prattled off a whole slew of other nonsense that had nothing to do with her maligning me. I had KP delete her entire thread although I'm sure damage to my reputation has been done. Yes, she is a blond but it's probably out of a bottle because no one could be as cluelessly stupid as she pretended to be.
