Is entrelac knitting difficult? It looks impressive.

I found it very difficult. It required just as much concentration as lace knitting. I often found myself knitting in the wrong direction and had to tink back to the previous square.

bit late with my comment, but festive looking tree. I like your cute cushion, did you make it? Angel enjoyed it too. You must show me how to do that entrelac, I have a pattern here for a sweater and socks.

It was a nice tree. We got the cushion at the gift exchange during DH's office Christmas Party. I don't know if I'll try any more entrelac. I didn't enjoy the knit and made more mistakes than I do with my lace.

I see that Angel was busy. Have you knitted a Christmas stocking for her?
comment by elderjane on Jan 10, 2013 4:25 AM ()
There wasn't much point in knitting her a stocking. She won't eat treats or kitty milk and she prefers to play with gift wrap, bows and boxes more than cat toys. We switched her from Whiskas to a different brand of cat food and she seems to be more active lately.

Are you leaving the tree up for awhile? Christmas is coming!
But Happy Spring in the mean time!

The tree came down on New Year's Day. I'm thinking of planting one in a big pot and keeping it in the house year round. It would only be decorated for the Christmas holidays.

A happy, healthy and prosperous New Year to you.

That's right - blame it on the cat. Bless her furry heart. The entrelac is beautiful, that yarn is perfectly suited because the color changes are just right for making squares. I am knitting a houndstooth check look into hats. Will post a picture when done.

She was hilarious! Charging at the gift wrap, trying to get underneath it. She was tearing chunks off and spitting them out all over the place. We were careful to keep the tissue paper out of reach as that stuff is impossible to get off your tongue.
Looking forward to seeing your hat.
