I went shopping yesterday and found a gorgeous Autumn wreath for the front door. I also picked up a little foam pumpkin to decorate the front porch when the flowers are gone. Walmart also had Fall coloured Maple leaf garlands that I wanted to put around the door but they were only six feet long so I would have needed two of them and that would have cost another $15.00 so I, sadly, left them behind. I thought DH would be grumping about the money I'd spent on the wreath and pumpkin but he loves them. Hmmm....I think those steps need a power wash.
This is what our view of the back of The Slob's property looks like now.
Elderjane asked to see a current picture of our back yard. We'll be reseeding in October to fill in the bald patches. It's just grass for now but next Spring we'll be planting trees, bushes and flowers.....lots and lots of flowers.

I love that wreath and your front door color. Where is that chesterfield that was under the weeds?
The FFA teacher grows pumpkins and sells them to raise money for the FFA convention. I love picking out the pumpkins to use as decorations.
I *love* fall decorations. We went to a pumpkin fest this weekend and I am so excited about fall. Things are coming along nicely for you and the yard. Cool. I can't wait to see pics of the trees and flowers in the spring.
very nice~ warm and cozy when entering the front door. Now... for the soups and breads, this winter.....
Holy moly does grass ever grow fast over there!
it all looks very nice! especially the front decorations! now I am going to have to give decorating a try. I'm not so good at it.
Not bad for a knitter Oh!what do I know
You have a nice front entry and a nice back yard. It will be great when you get it all planted. Nice, tall fence
