Go Marg. Your intellectual material is protected by law! That makes me angry as I'm sure it did you.

I seriously doubt she could sell any for $230.00, especially from that fuzzy, elongated photo.

I've never tried to sell anything I've made. Too much time to make it that it would never be worth it. It is only love for the other person that makes it worth my time. When asked to make something to sell I am so glad to have an out and tell them "its against copyright without written premission of the owner". Yea, love that law! This person was probably igonrat of that fact.

There is a growing wave of litigation on behalf of newspapers in Denver and Las Vegas against people appropriating their content and photographs to re-publish in blogs without attribution to the authors or observance of copyright laws. Once in awhile I'd paste something into my posts, but I don't do it any more. One of the key issues is whether the offending blog is a commercial site and/or there is money involved such as from third-party advertising. You would have a strong case for legal action.

She didn't even change the name of the gown and she used my picture, the one I took of the gown I knit. It's kind of like robbing the gas station right after paying for your gas with a personal cheque. Some people are just so ignorant it makes you wonder how they ever figured out how to turn on a computer.

Grrrrrrrrr! What a creep!! If she doesn't take it down, I hope you will get a lawyer and force her to remove it. Grrrrrrrr!

Has someone tried to rip you off?

She is certainly trying but at $230.00 a pop I don't think she'll get any customers. I've sent her an email telling her to remove this item from her website immediately or I will be forced to take legal action.
