It's call a Fitbit Flex, worn on the wrist, and collects some interesting and helpful information. It tracks my sleep, calories, steps, and water consumption. Mine calculates how many calories I need to eat in one day for weight lose and actually adds extra calories that I can eat if I get in my 10,000 steps and am fairly active during the day. In sleep mode it will tell me how long I slept, how often I woke up and how restless I was during the night. It's actually fun to use and I have already lost a few pounds. I should also reveal that my hips and knees are giving me a lot of grief but I expect they will get used to all the extra walking eventually.

It sounds fascinating.
I was wondering about those things, thanks for telling us.
That's amazing that something that looks like that can do all that.
