Well, Gosh Darn it All
I was just getting into my fitness groove when I discovered a blood blister on the side of my right foot. I remembered feeling a bit of rubbing there while I walked but it didn't hurt at all. I found it when I took my socks off. I don't have a lot of feeling in my feet. No one (doctors and other health care workers) seems to know why or even care about my condition. Easy fix. I covered the blister with a big band-aid, changed to a different pair of walking shoes and continued walking my 10,000 steps a day. A few days latter, the big toe on my left foot felt odd and when I checked, it looked bruised and I don't have another pair of walking shoes to wear. I have also been having a lot of trouble with my right hip. I can't walk any further than 1,600 steps before I start walking like I have a wooden leg. By the time I've walked 2,400 steps I am in agony. I even tried breaking my walk, on the track, up into two sessions but it didn't help. I have stopped the track walking until I see a physiotherapist with whom I have an appointment tomorrow afternoon. I'm hoping he/she doesn't tell me to stop walking or that 2 lb is all I'll be loosing. Wish me luck.
Oh, I'm so sorry. I know you were all just dying to see my injuries but I didn't think to take any pictures. Maybe next time.
