I Don't Feel a Day Over ...
I still feel the overwhelming love and pride that I felt for my children on the days they were born, when I was 30, 28 and 26.
I still feel the powerful love I had for my hubby when our relationship was new and exciting and at 23 when I knew I wanted to share the rest of my life with him.
I still feel the thrill of getting to do it my way like I did when I was twelve.
I still feel excited when company is coming or I'm going somewhere new or different as I felt when I was six.
I still love colour and music and making stuff.
I still love cuddling with kitties and being in the midst of interesting surrounds.
I still like pushing buttons; remote control, door bells, garage door, elevators.
I am still afraid of the dark and I still don't make friends easily.
I still bust my buttons when folks say nice things about me or my stuff and I am still crushed when I heard nasty things said about same.
Yes, I think six is it. I don't feel a day over six.
