I worked on the Fingerless Gloves yesterday and today. I needed to knit a pair from the pattern I typed up to make sure I didn't make any typos. Well, there is a humdinger of a mistake in there somewhere and I can't figure it out. I think I must have Knitter's Block. I need a me day to sit down with no interruptions and no plans and work it out. Today is not a me day. The Three Year Old is upstairs, napping on the couch. I was plying some black wool to knit myself a coat with when I noticed his eyes had closed so I quietly made myself a cup of (instant) coffee and tip toed downstairs to my office. DD#2 called this afternoon and asked if I could take The Ten Year Old to hockey practice this evening. It's pouring buckets of rain outside. I have almost an hour to knit but the yarn and needles are upstairs in my craft room and I might wake up the sleeping one as I pass. I've read all the interesting blogs for today.
Dinner's in the crock pot and boy does it smell good. Steak slathered in fresh mushrooms and cream of mushroom soup. I'll cook up some vegetables and mash the potatoes to complete the meal. I have no plans for tomorrow. I'm kinda hoping DH will go in to work so I can have that me day and get that pattern corrected and posted.
