Sorry I had to cut off my last article so abruptly but I have a VERY vocal feline annoying the H out of me. Peaches so desperately wants to go outside and his mean mommy won't let him. You see, he has a 2:30 appointment with The Dreaded Vet and I don't want him disappearing on me.

He's given up for now but when DH comes home to help me stuff the feisty little bugger into the pet carrier I'm sure he'll pick up where he left off with his caterwauling. This appointment is for a check up. It could just be the loss of his Winter coat but he seems to have lost some more weight lately and I'm just a little worried about him. Poor old guy will be 16 in October and has arthritis in his hind legs or hips.

I've started my next shawl. It's called Chrysanthemmumm and designed by MMario. I've been busy choosing colours and plying them together in preparation for knitting. I'd show you a picture of the finished shawl but I can't find one.
I chose this industrial thread I bought on eBay, years ago. The seller said it was knitting yarn and the photos gave no clue as to how fine the thread really was. It's old and it's dirty but I can wash it and ply it into the most amazing yarns.
