Barefoot Sandals

I took a two hour break, from the shawl, last night to knit these. I think they look very classy and exotic. I will wear them while I'm spinning as no dirty, shoe sole will ever touch my beautiful, painted treadles.

I love them! I could just see them being used for barefoot running (yes, really). Saw a guy running barefoot on the pathway in downtown Calgary today - the kids and I were biking.

Very interesting, especially the wedding party idea.

I can see them as great beachwear.

I can't bring myself to walk barefoot ob a beach. I keep thinking of all the broken glass, sharp metal and junkies needles that may lurk just under the surface.

The bottoms of your feet are not covered? I'm not sure I know how that works. But they are classy looking.

Also for sandy beaches. Anywhere you would wear bare feet. Imagine them in white with beads adorning the feet of the ladies in a seaside wedding party.
