Someone

Someone started his vacation today.
Someone has been around the house all day.
Someone promised to go for a walk with me today and didn't.
Someone expects me to be at his beck and call for the next two or three weeks (I'm afraid to ask).
Someone is telling me what to put on the shopping list.
Someone has been under foot all day.
Someone is telling me when to do my housework.
Someone is telling me how to do my housework.
Someone is driving me crazy and it's only the first day of many (too many).

I love it when Edie has time off and we will be together more and I hate it at the same time. When we actually have something to do together and we specifically plan some things and do them, it is wonderful. The rest of the time, though, AAACCCKKKK! Bicker and nag, I find myself picking up after her and all she wants to do is enjoy her time off (which means doing nothing helpful or productive)...she complains that she just can't enjoy her time off without being expected to do things and I complain that she not take advantage of the off time to get things done. These are the days and times that she'd be better off at work...or me out somewhere. So, I can relate to what you are saying.

I've already told Hubby when he retires he better come home with applications to Wal-Mart, Lowe's, Home Depot and Holcomb's Garden Center in his hand. I'm not sure I would survive.

Did you ever see the episode of "I Love Lucy" where Ricky is home (driving Lucy crazy) and she says "Go to work Ricky"? This is what my Mom and I both tell our husbands (in jest of course) when they stay home or work from home while driving us nuts.

Give him a list of things to do. He probably won't do them, but he might find something else to occupy himself.

Sounds like someone is cruisun fer a bruisun…or at least a quick stab with a knitting needle.

I guess the pink knitting is put on hold for a while or is it done?
