I'm taking a break from the I'm Baaaack posts (there's only one left anyway) to show off what I've made for The Baby. DD#2 called and told me she has a lot of onesies with short sleeves and seeing as how their furnace up and died a few days ago, she was wondering if I could whip up a few sweaters for my new granddaughter. Here is the first one, mostly pink and white, as requested. I call it Baby Baywing. It's more of a shrug than a cardigan but it will cover her chubby, little arms. It's difficult to see but there is some lace worked up both sides of the button bands. I'm going to take it over to her this afternoon and then get started on an all white baby jacket sans bonnet and booties.

Two days is lightning fast, and it must have been easy to seam up - is there a seam along the shoulder, or folded over? Marvelous design.
Very cute and different. I like the shrug idea...must be easier to get the little arms in and out of it.
Makes me want to have another baby. Ok... that's a lie, but the sweater is adorable.
