Me mind on fire -- Me soul on fire -- Feeling hot hot hot

Our first and hopefully last heat wave for this summer has finally arrived. Today it's 34C/93F. I sat outside until 1:15pm when it got too hot for me and I've spent the rest of the day in our nice cool 20C/68F basement sipping on ice tea, thinking frosty thoughts and knitting these:

Bring it on heat wave. I've got lots more hats to knit.

Oh-oh. If you're having a heat wave, I wonder if it is going to find its way down here. I'm trying to figure out the first frost date so I can drain the sprinkler system before it freezes.

I'd love to make the skulls! And yes - I do have some of the glow-in-the-dark left over from my uterus. Lord help the person who is trying to figure out these comments! I need to do another uterus soon.. I have decided I want one.

Do you have any of that glow in the dark pink left over from the uterus? I used white glow in the dark for the skulls. I'll e-mail you my skull graph if you're interested.
