Where Do I Go from Here?

I'm beginning to lose interest in blogging. I suppose it could be due to the fact that I can count the number of people who actually read my blog, on one hand. Maybe it's because there is nothing outstanding that is happening in my life right now. I can tell you, it was very difficult to make the installation of my dryer vent and days filled with laundry sound the least bit interesting and I'm not entirely sure I achieved my goal. Perhaps it's because some of the people I found interesting, although definitely not all of them, are still back at Blogster. I don't think so though, because if that were the case I'd be blogging more over there and I'm not. Maybe the recent signs of Spring have me anxious to start checking out bedding plants and dragging out the lawn furniture. Or maybe I just have a bad case of Blogger's Block.

I get that way too. That's why there was a big gap between me shutting down my Bugster accounts, and starting up here. And gardening! I did some more gardening today! A whole 30 minutes, and it snowed on me! The ground is still frozen, but I can still weed the grass that is starting to grow.

Old Blogster racked up a huge number of hits - I would watch my visitor's number go up about 1000 a day sometimes, with maybe 4 or 5 comments from the same good friends, who were probably the only ones reading what I wrote. I think this new site is more realistic about the number of hits that are really taking place, so it may seem like fewer people are appreciating your posts, but it's more quality than quantity. I never knew where all those 'visitors' came from, figured they were steered in by some sneaky programming, or not at all, the numbers just got bigger randomly.

To me, what you share about your daily life is like a nice conversation with a good friend over a cup of coffee or tea, and it makes me feel good that I can write what's on my mind, as silly as it is sometimes. I would miss you a lot if you gave it up entirely, Marg. Like you I find myself taking more breaks from blogging than I did before, but always enjoy getting caught up on what everyone's got to say.

There are no rules. Blog when you want; don't blog when you want. Just do *it* because it's what you want to do, not because of what somebody else may be thinking.....

I know how this feels...I am NEW to this and not sure I have anything interesting to add--but it is more help for me, to write....even if it is just to get my mind on something else. I sooooo empathize with getting in to the garden, I see GREEN!!! Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

I was just writing today how could anyone find what I do during the day interesting? but really, people are interested. whether you take a break or leave for a while, I hope you come back. I do enjoy reading your blog. or was one of the ones on your one hand?

One of the things I have found is that so many new people join all the time that they don't know us (you)--we think everyone knows all about us but they don't--I am sure some of your original blogs would be as interesting now as when you first posted them.
Plus many of us are blogging here and there and I have asked those who do to just comment here--I don't think about how many are reading my blogs but that those who do are interested enough.
And how could you not want to keep Fredo informed about what's going on in your life???

We all go through this.I felt like this many times.
But things do get quiet with the daylight savings and spending
more time out door. Then again people do read yours or mine
blog and sometime they do not leave any comment. This is typical.
But if need to ,take a break and get your work done and then
come back.Sometime I take three or four days off from this.
So,hang in there we like to hear from you.

I think it is just the blogging blues.
