Bathroom Reno Update

It's not finished yet. I'm still showering in the coffin. However, the end is in sight.

Drywaller came; fixed the damaged wall and filled in all the screw holes.

The plumber did this.

image
The tiler did this.

Don painted the walls a lovely cream colour.

The cabinet maker installed these.

And this new linen cupboard.

The plumber is coming on Tuesday to install the new shower curtain rod, taps/faucet/shower and hook up the sink.

The electrician needs to be called to install the new light fixture.

We aka Don will be putting up the new towel bars. We aka I will be purchasing new towels, bath mat, and mirror for over the sink.

Wednesday morning I will be taking a luxurious shower in our aka my new bathroom. Will show more photos when it's complete.

verah cool...Shady Pines updated all our bathrooms recently. we got cool hand held shower heads and low flow toilets, which kinda suck 'cause it takes two or more flushes to get most stuff completely gone. Don't know how they are saving water there. They put new air-aters on the faucets so now the water preasure is somewhat lacking but I guess anything they can do to keep our rents from rising to the moon is ok.

yer yeah, whatever pal

spotless and clean.

It's lovely! How exciting. I was worried about how the pink was going to go with the new tile, but you addressed that.

Don is now preparing the pink, downstairs bathroom walls for painting. He'll be using the same cream coloured paint as upstairs. I think they've been pink for about 15 years. UGH! In the photos it looks like the floor and counter colours clash but they don't. The camera is just messing up the true colours of mossy greens and cream.
