Update on Mr Shivers
DH came home from work and I hollered at him not to grind the spider into the carpet. He said, "What spider?" I said, "The one at the foot of the stairs." He said, "I don't see any spider." So I got up to show him, mumbling something about blind bats, but when I got to the foot of the stairs......Mr Shivers was gone! Was I too late with my warning? Was Mr Shivers stuck to the sole of DH's shoe? I checked but no Mr Shivers. He WAS dead. I didn't have to check for a pulse. You saw the photo of his poor, flattened, two inch diameter body. The only thing we can think of is that Angel-Who-Isn't ate him. What a gruesome end for poor Mr Shivers.
