my weather but I just can't get my mind off of it. The house is getting warmer each day. The nighttime lows aren't low enough to cool anything down and to top it off, there is no breeze what so ever. As soon as the sun goes down I have my table fans, both of them, blowing the hot air in the house OUT the windows. Even the basement is getting too warm. We sleep all night with all the windows and the back porch door wide open. Didn't I mention something about violent crime in yesterday's blog? I'm not getting to bed until 1:30am because the bedroom is too hot to sleep in. Then the bloody pack of dogs, next door, is let loose at 5:30am. The inconsiderate, ignoramus owners load them into the car and take them somewhere for walkies between 5:30 and 6:30 so I get a little more shut eye while they're gone but from 6:30 until it's too hot to sit outside I get to hear the canine chorus at their best. I'm beginning to have daydreams about flinging poisoned meat over the hedge into their yard. Not that I would ever really do that but I do enjoy dreaming about it. If you want to own four or five uncontrollable, barking dogs go buy a house in the country.

Nursekim is home from the hospital. We had a nice long chat, on the phone, yesterday. She finds out in a couple of weeks if her arm needs surgery.

The heat has started killing my brain cells. I couldn't understand why DH hadn't come home for the lunch I made. Then I remembered, it's Thursday. Every Thursday he goes to his service club luncheon meeting. Oh well, he can have it for supper. OMG! It's THURSDAY! I have to deliver my papers today and tomorrow in this sweltering heat.
