If you're looking for a tasty description of something to eat go check out Sum's blog because in this case I'm the one that's steamed. Yesterday was The M-I-L's 86th birthday and DH and I were invited to attend a birthday lunch for her at her favourite ritzy restaurant, the Tigh-Na-Mara Resort in Parksville. After picking up The M-I-L at the rest home we arrived at the restaurant to be greeted by The Favourite Son, his wife, their daughter, their son and their daughter's boyfriend. "Where were DD#1 and DD#2 and their families?" I hear you ask. Well, I don't really know, possibly at home.....because they were not invited to this shindig. I'm sick of my kid's being ignored by other family members and I'm not putting up with it again. I will be asking who will be attending the next **family** gathering and if I don't hear my daughters' names I will not be going.

Wonder what would have happened if you picked them up and brought them along? Guess they wouldn't all fit in one car... maybe a caravan? I might do that and then act all innocent!
