Show and Tell

I haven't been doing very much knitting lately. My thumb still hurts and I'm not sure what's wrong with it so I err on the side of caution. These are the last two things I've accomplished:

A new purse/bag I'm trying to sell on Etsy.

A soft eye glasses case for Mom as she doesn't like the hard, spring loaded case that came with her new glasses.

My thumb has been feeling a bit better these past few days. Maybe I'll give that Chrysanthemmumm Shawl another go tomorrow.

Here is hoping the thumb gets better so that you can work on the shawl.

I worked on the shawl for a bit today. I don't want to over do it.

I went through a time when my hands, especially my right thumb. I felt like doing counted cross stitch had something to do with it, the way I held the fabric. I took glucosamine for awhile and it got better and didn't come back.

that purse is so cute, my teenager tells me that kind of little purse bag is really in! I am with your mom, I dont care for the hard cases - anything knit is always better

Thanks for the eyeglass case, it looks perfect for the job, and very original. Go easy on that thumb, something plain and simple to give it chance to recover

Can't get any more simple than a felted eye glasses case.....except maybe a garter stitch dish cloth. Now I'm working on a tea cozy for a little tea pot who's lid falls off when you try to pour the tea but is too hot to replace or touch. It's garter stitch.
