Mouldy Floor No Longer a Problem
DH disposed of the mouldy floor problem by, literally, sweeping it away. I spent an hour on the computer last night researching how to clean it up and relayed all the pertinent information to DH. I told him how we need to use a dust mask, rubber gloves and peroxide. I told him the dead, dried remains need to be vacuumed up and the vacuum emptied outside. So, this morning, before I've even gone out to buy the supplies he took my kitchen broom, swept the mould into my dust pan, dumped the dust pan's contents into a bucket and carried it through the house to the garage where it now resides. The mouldy floor is no longer a problem. DH aka Dunder Head is now so in the Dog House.
The floor laying people are bringing the laminate over on Tuesday. They will be back to start work on Wednesday and hope it won't take much longer than two days.
