All alone with just a beat of my heart

He's gone. He left this morning, suitcase in hand. Part of me is saying, "Thank God!" but part of me wants him to come home.......and he will on Wednesday. He's spending three days in Victoria on business. At least he's out of my hair, although, he did leave some wood molding for me to pry off and the lino in the basement to roll up and two queen size beds to up end and.......maybe that why I want him to come home.

I called the flooring store owner to tell him to send the carpenter back as we found another sub floor that needs to be removed. I also asked when they would be bringing the laminate on Tuesday and he started rambling on about Tofino. He missed his calling. He should have been a used car salesman. Anyway, I didn't really understand what he was talking about. When he was finished talking I said, "So, your bringing the laminate on Wednesday?" to which he answered in the affirmative. I had been worried they would be bringing it on Tuesday afternoon when I'm babysitting The Seven Year Old at his house.
I just know there's going to be a screw up somewhere. Like maybe someone forgets to tell the plumber to come and lift the toilet and unhook the dishwasher or something gets damaged when the guys are moving my stuff around. I wish I could just relax and go with the flow. "Om mani padme hum.....Om mani padme hum.....Om mani padme hum....."
