This is what happens when I can't sleep. I lie in bed for one hour and if I don't feel the least bit sleepy, I get up, tip-toe down stairs, settle myself in my favourite chair and knit. In a very short time I have managed to produce this:


A pair of Checkered Slippers for DD#2


A nice thick pullover for DD#2's almost One Year Old.


An adorable bunny hat for same One Year Old. (Her brothers got the skull hats.)


My newest design, the Goin' Green Shopping Bag. It turned out waaay too big but Kim likes the colours so this prototype is hers. You can probably get a weeks worth or groceries, for yourself, in this bag. The next won't be quite so big.


Unfortunately all this knitting has proven to be too much for my poor thumb. Sister Kim the nurse told me I should stop knitting for a month. ROFLMBO Ya, right. Like that's ever going to happen but I am taking more breaks and it's slowly getting better.

Unrelated: As I was making the bed I heard the dog lady next door hollering, "Do you like this? Because I don't! So stop it!" At first I thought her husband was feeling randy but they were outside so I suspect she was yelling at the dogs.
