Unfortunately, it's not my birthday. It's our 39th Wedding Anniversary.
February 14, 1976
We are going out for dinner at our favourite restaurant tonight. We didn't call for a reservation early enough but they squeezed us in for 8:15. Better late than never at Little Bavaria.
Don has finally retired. Well, sort of. He's hanging around to help out the new owners with year ends for six months or so. He says he's glad he's getting to ease into retirement.
I've knit another Orca bag to replace the one that sold. It's a little smaller and I didn't line this one.

It has a different whale on it.
I knit it using the same method the Cowichan knitters use. It makes a nice thick, sturdy fabric.
