Craft fairs have become quite popular in the past few years. Originally, Port Alberni only had two; the Spring Craft Fair and the Christmas Craft Fair. The Spring Craft Fair faded into oblivion but the Christmas/Winter craft fairs have propagated. Every weekend in November and into December there are several craft fairs or bazaars somewhere in town. DH and I went to a few the last two weekends and here are some goodies I came home with:
Fair Trade basket with lid (yarn not included) and two sheep tape measures from Vietnam
Fair Trade necklace and local artist's earrings
Local artist's earrings and necklace
Local artist's pine needle and birch bark basket with lid
I'm all craft faired out......until next year.

Great stuff! Love the sheep!
Maybe the earrings were moving and that fat cat was wishing he could pounce.
I like them all. Will Angel sleep in the baskets?
Wow — you found some great things. Love the pine needle basket, too, and the necklaces. Well done!
I'm very jealous. I think my favorite is the pine needle basket, but it's hard to decide. What a silly look that black and white cat has in its eyes - too much catnip, I think. That cat figurine is gazing up at your mannequin with eyes full of love. First I thought it was those earrings, but kitty has the same adoring look no matter what she's wearing, so it must be her.
