Happy 31st birthday to my son. Seems like just yesterday I was screaming in pain and swearing like a sailor at his father.I hope he got some of The M-I-L's genes and lives to be 100 or more.

Poor old Peaches has been vomiting for over two weeks now. I figured it was a hairball and started giving him Hairball Remedy in addition to his daily brushing. After a week he was still vomiting an average of once a day so I gradually switched him to Purina's hairball food. He continued vomiting so I took him to the vet ($50.00). She said it could be any number of ailments, including a hairball, and did a blood test on him ($156.72). We got the results today and liver is a bit off so the vet gave him a shot of antibiotics specific for a particular type of liver infection ($54.86). In four weeks I have to take him back to the vet for another blood test ($156.72) to see if the antibiotics did anything. I'm still hoping it's just a hairball.
