We finally put our tree up, tonight. We didn't put it up sooner because we didn't want it to be in the carpenter's way but at the rate he's going he might still be here Christmas Eve. I'm not complaining though. He's doing a wonderful job. Neither one of us were really in the mood but we're glad it's up. Remember that nice tree stand we just purchased? We couldn't use it. The holes for the ring screws were so big the screws easily slid in and out when they are supposed to screw in. We'll buy some bolts to hold them in place for next year. As for this year, we used the #$%&@^*# old stand again.
Now if we can just keep the Angel-Who-Isn't from washing her feet in the tree's water bowl......
