Plumbers Start Work Too Early

I know I shouldn't be complaining but running into expensive problems, you weren't expecting, while renovating can be rather stressful. The plumber sent his 'crew' over at the ungodly hour of 8:40AM. At least he called to let me know they were coming. I had 20 minutes to get dressed and washed as best I could. By the way, I have discovered my pits are allergic to whatever is in antibacterial wipes.
Me and my big mouth! I innocently asked the 'crew' if suds should be in the downstairs toilet bowl when I'm using the washing machine, upstairs and he starts telling me about something that is called No Corrode. It's pipe that is simply layers and layers of wrapped tarpaper. If we have that and it's collapsed they will have to dig up our new back yard to replace it with proper pipes. He said they've had to do that to other homes in this area or the toilet may just be in the 'suds zone'. Now my stress level is through the roof. $$$$$$$ We may be paying off this renovation for years to come.
It appears to be a leaky drain in the shower so they have pulled the shower stall right out to install a new type of drain that can be replaced in the future without have to remove the entire shower stall. They are also replacing some parts that, although they aren't leaking yet, it's only a matter of time.
OK, It's much too early in the day for all this whine.
