or how about "It never rains. It only pours."

The Plan didn't exactly work out the way it was supposed to. I took my grandson, shampoo and a towel over to DD#2's but there was a big basin full of water sitting in her sink. The other side of the double sink held a few large and possibly dirty dishes so I removed the basin, unplugged the stopper and ran water in it to clean out a few bits of gunk. Next thing I know water is cascading out of the lower cupboard and onto DD#2's laminate wood floor. By the time I'd cleaned up the puddle I no longer cared what my hair looked or smelled like. Oh and get this.....The Seven Year Old was standing beside me the whole time and it wasn't until after the floor was soaked that he remembers and says to me, "Oh ya, that sink leaks." When The Twelve Year Old got home I told him to tell his mother I'm sorry I flooded her kitchen and beat a hasty retreat before he could grab the phone to squeal on me. I was home by 4:15 but the plumber is nowhere to be seen. Maybe it will rain tomorrow and I can stand outside naked with my shampoo. That way, I could return the favoure to the neighbour behind us who, yesterday, opened the sliding glass door curtains, in the master bedroom, clad only in his sexy, black undies. He stood there in a Mr Atlas pose for approximately four minutes, forty-seven and a quarter seconds. I'm sure he would have stayed longer if he hadn't seen the flash from my camera.
