I was allergy free until I turned 40. For two years I told myself I had a summer cold, that lasted for four months. Now my allergies are year round. Pollen in the spring and summer, Christmas tree in December, dust 24/7 and now I think I'm allergic to my cat. Do you think my allergies will subside when I grow up?
I wish I could send you some of our rain.
I don't like to waste my money on entertainment so I spend it on valuable items like spinning wheels and drum carders.........oh, wait! That IS my entertainment.
The only one I didn't get was "Dear Martin Luther King Jr." The rest ranged from cute to down right hilarious.
I knew a married couple who proudly announced to all and sundry that they were brother and sister. They enjoyed seeing the look on people's faces before explaining that his widowed mother married her divorced father and each were adopted by the others parent. She thought it was so cool that she didn't have to change her name when they married.
Love the snowy photo.
What a lovely tribute to your neighbour.
If the TV is on I'm watching House or Stargate Universe. If the newspaper is open, in front of me I'm reading the comics and advice column. Radio? I listen to CDs and my MP3. DH is a news hound. I figure if anything important happens, he'll let me know.
I guess I jumped the gun with regards to "the thoughtless, selfish daughter". Apparently, she was at Disneyland with her son and a friend.
Maybe some day the thoughtless, selfish daughter who lives a block and a half up the street but doesn't even call me on Mother's Day will realize the truth in your last sentence.
You put "politicians" and "truth" in the same paragraph.
I'd love to see a picture of your vest.
I wouldn't have lasted the first year of teaching before screaming at and/or smacking some little hooligan in my class. To put it mildly, I don't care much for children.
I'm not trying to excuse his behaviour towards you but some people have a need to complain. It actually makes us feel better. I have explained this to DH and thanked him for being my sounding board. I so glad you're enjoying life now.
