My little first generation iPod Shuffle that I won is dying. Slowly. It still works, but I can't get it to charge or connect to iTunes, so once it's out of power... it's toast.
I put music and audiobooks on it to listen to while I run and weed the garden. I have the first half of Stephen King's "Gingerbread Girl" on it, but I can't load the second half! I finally put it on my Blackberry so I can listen to the rest of it.
So, I need a new one. My options are a Nano ($140) or a Touch ($250). I'm really leaning towards the Nano since it is smaller, has a built in clip, and is much less expensive. The Touch is amazing, but has many features that I already get on my Blackberry, features that I probably won't use, it's much larger than the Nano, and I'd have to spend even more money on an armband for running with. And, I might replace my Blackberry with an iPhone when the contract is up, so why pay the extra for the Touch?
Thoughts?
My Blackberry can play audiobooks and music, but doesn't remember where I stopped in a book, so it's a pain to use. I like Apple products because I like iTunes - it's easier to use than most media managers.
