I finished off the calendar I'm making for xmas and submitted it for printing. At only $10 each it makes a cheap gift. But not without hassle!
I decided that I would create a collage for each page myself, and made the page size about 11x8.5". Well, that caused all sorts of problems! I couldn't print my collages without cropping as 5x7 to check them. I printed them anyway.
Then I tried several different online places to put them on a calendar - and the sites either forced a format on you, or cropped my collages in a bad way. Or cost way too much - $30/calendar.
Someone sent me a WagJag deal about a calendar from Staples for $13 each, 55% off. But you can only get 5. I need 10! AAAGGH!
While I'm looking at Staple's calendar, I realize they dropped their price from the last time I looked (another website had RAISED their prices!). I experimented a bit with them, and figured out how to work with their site and prevent the cropping! Yeah! And their cheaper calendar's price had dropped to $10, so I went with that one. Does it really matter if it's on a lighter paper and stapled instead of having a ring binding? I thought not. It's the pictures each month that makes it special.
