On Sunday, it was windy. I looked at the wind and decided it would be an indoor day. With the wind, your eyes would be full of dirt in no time.
And it got windier, and windier...
The city's downtown got shut down. Windows were breaking on high rises! Several thousand trees fell over. Trucks over turned on highways.
Such fun.
The wind took a few strips of roofing off the horse shelter, bent over a section of snow fence, rearranged some hay, tipped a rabbit hutch into the plastic lattice behind it, and I discovered today that one roof shingle on the house is folded back. Pointed it out to DH. He hasn't done anything about it. There is a winter storm warning, it's going to snow tonight. I guess going to karate tonight was more important than the roof leaking and causing $$$ in damage. Huh.
But at least when I mentioned for the second time that one of the tires on the van is leaking, he's actually going to take it in tomorrow. Two different strangers pointed it out today and when I check it, it registered no air pressure on the little air pressure thingie. I filled it up at a gas station. It's holding, I think it's a very slow leak. (I'm tired of leaks! First a water trough leak, and now a tire leak, and hopefully not a leaky roof coming up...)
