Big hair, shoulder pads and big glasses frames were popular in the 80's. How do I know? I have a photograph of myself hidden away. I don't remember the young men wearing mini skirts however, it was DH's beautiful, long, wavy, red locks that first attracted me to him the summer of 1974.
I hope you have a sturdy lock on your closet door. Wouldn't want them to escape too soon.

My mom used to refer to family members as "our (insert name)" when talking to others. It's a British thing. I wish I could get in the habit as a son-in-law's name is the same as DH's. It can get very confusing.
