I went down to Columbus with a new painting Saturday morning. before I left I filled bowls with cat food, treats and left them with all the fans running. I came home this afternoon to a house wreck. Rinny, who habituates my studio, totally trashed the room. All paint bottles, tubes and canvases, brushed, etc, are all over the floor. He also knocked the floor fan out of the window. The kitchen: One of them over turned and dumped a bottle of apple cider vinegar on the floor (which I washed and waxed last week.) They got in a pantry cabinet and ripped open bags of noodles. All my mail and papers on the desks and a table are spread over the floors. One of them did a dirty on my TV chair. One pulled an 8-foot lace drape down, holder and all. Then one of them obviously slept on it because is is fuzzy with cat hair.

They are going on probation for a while. No half and half. No treats. No catnip. No daddy's lap, either.

I told them when I left - "No parties, guys!"
