The playing tables are set up in two huge pavilions, 400 tables each seating 10, so that's 4000 people playing live poker at one time.

There are many smaller events building up to a big one. The entry fees vary, from $50,000 down. Today at noon the big event started, entry fee: $10,000. Some of the players have their entry fee paid by sponsors, and others earn free entries through winning on Internet poker sites.

Mr. Travel doesn't play live poker, but I have a second cousin who won $58,000 at the WSOP a couple of years ago.
