Our summer renter is a drag queen from Missouri who drives Jeep tours in the national park. The other day we were looking at the webcam at the entrance gate, and there were the Jeeps so we took a screenshot.



The perfect tenant: gone all day working, quiet, doesn't throw parties.

The adult foxes have been teaching the babies how to hunt. A lot of rodents hang out in that tall grass at the back of the yard.





The river ran high with snow melt all of June, flushing out the riverbed. It's just starting to settle down to levels that the fly fishermen like to see.



This weekend we have people coming to apply road base and gravel to our access road to the highway. It's 700 feet long and snowplowing after a big spring snow really chewed it up - all the gravel ended up in the ditches. It needed work anyway because it's been 10 years since it was rebuilt after the big flood, and there's sinkage. I'm excited to get it done.
