Mother's Day 2010
The weather was beautiful. DH and I started the day off with a filling breakfast of a large Belgian waffle smothered in strawberries and whipped cream at Solda's Restaurant. I love their bottomless cup of coffee. Then I accompanied him to the dump and he grocery shopped with me. We spent the afternoon putting the roof on the sunshade, hauling the patio set up onto the deck and entertaining DD#2 and the boys. She gave me a bouquet of tulips and a small balloon on a stick that The Eight Year Old insisted I needed. I didn't see DD#1 as she had gone to Victoria to watch a drag race her F-I-L was competing in. DH went to bed early as he had to get up at 5am. I didn't hear from my son at all. Maybe I'll get a card in the mail today. All in all it was a nice day.
