I went in to have my yearly lab tests done at 8:15 this morning. After a wait of almost an hour and a half they took three vials of blood and handed me two specimen cups. By this time I'd been fasting for over 13 hours. Ya can't get blood from a stone and my bladder was the proverbial stone. So now I'm home guzzling water like I've just been rescued from two days out in the desert. Another 30 minutes and I should be able to return to the lab with full containers.
