Remember the deadly dolly DH and I got at the Valentine's Dinner and Dance's silent auction? It's called a Sky Dancer and was recalled in June of 2000 due to "170 reports of the dolls striking children and adults resulting in 150 reports of injuries. They included eye injuries, including scratched corneas and incidents of temporary blindness, broken teeth, a mild concussion, a broken rib, and facial lacerations that required stitches."
After waiting weeks for the postage paid label Hasbro promised to send so I could return the doll for a, hopefully, safer toy, I contacted them again and received the label in sort order. I was packaging up the doll when I noticed this. In small print near the bottom of the label it states, "Sender warrants that this item does not contain dangerous goods." How ironic!
