Filberg Festival
DH and I thought we would escape the heat (35C/95F), yesterday, by heading north to Comox (Forecast 28C/82F)to check out the Filberg Festival. https://www.filbergfestival.com/ We also wanted to play with our new toy, the GPS unit. Well, the festival was OK. There were only two booths that sold yarn and their prices were way over the top for me. I'll just spin and dye my own, thank you very much. We also found out that Comox takes their temperatures out at the cool, windy airport. At the festival grounds it was at least 35C maybe more. Everyone was drenched in sweat. The GPS was made in the USA and the lady giving directions pronounces kilometres wrong. She also pronounced Comox (Co as in row or low), Comics (as in Superman comics) and she's difficult to hear when the jeep engine is running and the windows are open. I'm off to knit outside while it's still cool enough to be outside.
