I got to use some of my favourite cuss words and phrases this morning. Not to worry though. I had already hung up the phone before I started to vent. The reason? My call to the exterminator didn't go well. He said because the nest is in the attic amongst insulation, he can do a $400.00 job but won't guarantee it or he can do a $1,200.00 job with a guarantee. FOUR HUNDRED BUCKS! and the bloody ants could be back with the first warm, sunny day. No thank you! Guess I'll just have to keep putting out the poison. I plugged up the holes and they're not quite so prolific today.
Did a bunch or running around this afternoon; Walmart, post office, Staples and Suzannes. I bought some nice new sheets and craft supplies at my first stop. Mailed off my Ribbons and Lace Christening Gown I sold on Etsy. Bought some office supplies and a new outfit for myself. I hope DH remembered to go settle the matter of the digital cable box with Shaw.
