I have a problem with spending big bucks on a watch because I tire of the style or colour too quickly so I buy a $12.00 watch every couple of years and when the battery dies I go buy another $12.00 watch in a different style and/or colour. Usually the watch band lasts about as long as the battery. One of the little belt loops will have fallen off but I can still wear the watch. This time, however, both loops disappeared and I was afraid I'd loose my El Cheapo timepiece so I knit a new watch band for it.
