I'm not sure if it was food poisoning or the bison burger I had for dinner but I spent half of last night on the toilet. I had hoped to sleep in this morning but was woken at 8:00am by next door's fence builders tossing bags of cement onto my driveway, next door's roofers hammering away, neighbours on the other side of the lane's mini back hoe scooting around their back yard and someone's loose yellow lab barking it's silly head off in my back yard. I charged outside in my PJs to chase off the dog and lock the gate DH had left open when he mowed the lawn. Now I'm downstairs with a coffee and splitting headache hoping the computer's hum almost drowns out the racket outside.

On the good side, I started a new felted bag yesterday. I'm using 13 separate strands of yarn on some rows. I have to keep stopping to untangle the knot of yarns. This is going to take a while but I'm very pleased with how it is turning out.
