The lady came to pick up her bag this morning. She told me her daughter just lives four houses from me. I wanted to say, "Oh, that's the cow who lets her dog run loose and then argues with me about it instead of trying to get the mutt under control." but I didn't. I suspect she continued straight to her daughter's house to show her the new bag. Fortunately, The Cow doesn't know who I am.
I'm bumping the price of the bag up to $15.00. At $12.00 a bag I would have to sell four to recoup what I paid for the yarn and I don't think I'll get more than five or six out of the yarn I have left. I wish I lived in a bigger city where people weren't so cheap. DD#2 is going to be selling the clothing and toys her kids have outgrown, later this month at a garage/craft sale. In exchange for my sitting on her baby, she has offered to put out some of my knitting on her table. It would be encouraging if some of it sold. Ah well, it's my passion and even if nothing sells I'll just keep knitting and donate what I can't use.
