Alberni Forest Fest
Alberni Forest Fest
DH and I are going to the Alberni Forest Fest later today. The festivities are held at a national historic site, McLean Mill, an old sawmill that was in operation between 1926 and 1965. It's like an outdoor museum. You can either drive to it or take the train, pulled by a 1929 Baldwin locomotive from our restored 1912 Canadian Pacific Railway station. There is more info here: https://www.alberniheritage.com/mclean-mill/welcome-mclean-steam-sawmill
I'll be back later with pictures.
