It was kinda nice while it lasted but my princess status has been reduced to slave. Today it's, "What's for lunch?", "You should call the furnace guy for the annual check up.", "You need to pick up some more calcium pills." and "Can you do some laundry today? I'm running out of clean clothes."

Etsy is working well. In less than two and a half months I've sold five items. Sure beats the heck out of Blujay where in three years I sold one item. Last night I dreamed someone had purchased my Topsy Turvy Doll on Etsy and had already paid for it through PayPal but it was a mistake. That doll is my prototype and wasn't even supposed to be for sale. I didn't know how it could have been posted on Etsy and I was so upset at losing it.

I knit nine inches of my new shawl before realizing the pattern is wrong. Upon comparing my work with the designer's photo I noticed a big difference. A difference that would use up my silk faster so I would end up with a smaller shawl. So I frogged it (Ripped out all the stitches {"Rip it, rip it." Hence frog, frogging, frogged.}) and have started over. I want to finish it in time for my birthday so I can wear it out to dinner with the long mint skirt I have hanging in the closet.


I'm also working on a pair of double souled slippers and a pair of wool gloves to keep my hands warm while delivering my newspapers. I also want to knit another Topsy Turvy Doll to sell on Etsy. Hmmmm I wonder why that thought just popped into my head.
