I heard on my radio show this morning that more and more peeping toms are going out and taking "up the skirt" pictures of girls in stores. Why? Because a dude got off scott free when the judge in the case said the girl was setting herself up to be exposed by wearing a skirt. Um. Seriously? How is this ok?
Perhaps the skirts are too short? Does that give creepy men the right to take pictures? It reminds me of the movie with Jodie Foster where she gets raped and then blamed because her clothes were a bit skimpy. Do some men get tempted? Yup. Does that give them the right to personally violate a person's space? I don't think so. If that's the case then maybe the people who dress in huge potato sack type garb covering the whole body have it right. That or just banish men from the streets altogether since some of em apparently can't handle it.
I just can't believe judges are saying this is ok. It's no longer one case, it's several. UNREAL to me. I soooo want to drop out of this FUBAR society sometimes and start a new one... My own little Utopia.
In other news, it's Wednesday. Why is it not Friday? We are going to the lake this weekend to see my parentals, and a couple friends from HS are going to come up as well to visit. YAY! I am excited.
Yesterday I was talking to R about changing my last name. He thinks it'll be a hassle, and actually I talked to a guy friend who DID change his name, and he said it was a hassle and a bit pricey - that was in NY though. I dunno! One of R's suggestions though was Kristy Lynn Hotness. hehehe I love him. I told him that simply wouldn't do though since it didn't rhyme like my current last name and my idea for a last name! :0)
Happy Wednesday everyone! And remember, always wear a SKORT and not a SKIRT because lord knows some men and judges think it's A-OK to take pictures of your goods...
