Another storm tonight. So I got some more pics, until I started seeing lightning! I like this series as it shows the progression of the storm. From light blue to almost black clouds. and in the last pic you can see the rain falling in the distance

look at that rain!! Good photo's Mare.. I love sleeping in that kind of weather.
Now I have to know... did you try to take pics of the lightening during a flash and capture those 'fuzzy spapkley phenomenoms' I captured a couple of weeks ago??? These are great pics of a storms prgression, you should post them here.... ang on while I get the web address... severewx.co.uk - in here these meteorologists love a good storm progression look out for me in there from time to time
HmmmmmmmmmmmI thought that this guy was weird. They got me beaten there. The smell of ozone ,think that I will pass on this.Nice pictures.

Great pics. I love a good t. storm.
Great pics! I love the smell of ozone just before a storm
I envy you...storms make me want to curl up into the fetal position.
What wonderful pictures. I love storms. Nena
Awww I LOVE those pics!! You know me I love anything to do with weather especially storm pics.
We had over 11 inches of rain this month, all in a very short period of time...one night it was like the "Twilight Zone" it poured so hard... a lot of flooding...
I like the third pic! I finally got a good shot of lightening last summer. My camera takes so long to focus that it's a hit-and-miss kind of thing.... just keep clicking and hope to get lucky. We've had a few good T-storms, but nothing with enough lightening to make for a good photo op. But it's not quite summer yet!
Ain't Mother Nature grand--especially when she is angry!!
Looks like the storm we had last week that killed my modem and knocked me off line for six days. Eeeeeeks! Sure it isn't time to hide under the bed?
I wouldn't mind having a storm or two - It's been a few weeks since the last one, and my Garden's could use the rain!
Pretty pictures!
Cool pictures. I love storms. They make me feel alive.
Wow Mary, those are fabulous pictures. The last one looks scary though. Take cover
